Do you live in a full-catering public accommodation?
If you are accommodated in a public-law accommodation of Fördern & Wohnen, in which you are offered full meals free of charge, your standard rate for Bürgergeld will be reduced from 1st April 2024.Bürgergeld is such that food is to be paid from it. This applies equally to all citizens of Germany. The new regulation (§68 SGB II) ensures greater justice, because all benefit recipients make their contribution to the payment of food.
