What is the BundID?

The BundID is a centralised service of the federal government. You can use it to identify yourself online in order to complete administrative procedures online and submit applications conveniently.

Why do you need the BundID?

Depending on which of our online services you wish to use, you may need to register with the BundID in future – for example, if an online ID card is required to use the eService.
